“And we know that God causes everything to work togethert for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Everyday there is always something on the news that always makes us wonder….
“What now?!”
Sometimes it just seems that the world gets worse and worse.
In response to all of the news that we are inundated with everyday we get twenty different theories on what’s happening and why its happening. Not to mention all the self-help 12 step programs that apparently provide some secret formula to allow us to finally experience the most incredible joy in our lives. While all of this is going on God says to the world:
“I work for the good.”
What an amazing word that He gives us everyday. In response to rising gas prices, a declining economy, and everything that we are concerned about, God says, “
I will redeem.”
Amazing.
No matter the situation, nothing is too BIG for our HOLY FATHER. Nothing.
If that word wasn’t enough to completely knock us off our collective feet it gets better.
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, tneither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Make no mistake about it, the Lord made you and me and knows exactly what happens in our life. He knows the number of hairs on your head, what college you will attend, what degree you will pursue, and best of all HE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE. He knows EVERYTHING that you will do, GOOD AND BAD, and yet HE STILL LOVES YOU AND DECLARES THAT YOU ARE WORTHY. HE SENT HIS SON TO PROVE IT!
Holy God,
Help us always to open our hearts and clear our minds so that we completely focus on you. It’s all about you Father. It begins with you and ends with you. May we always live a life that glorifies you.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
