"He has shown all you people what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." -Micah 6:8
Sometimes I feel that I complicate the issue. Seriously do you complicate things. Overthink things? Analyze them too much to the point of complete and utter frustration?
I'm sure that many of you are thinking to yourself of these moments, and when I read this verse from Micah I have to chuckle just a little and realize that its so simple. I love how simplistic and logical this verse is. It's straight and to the point. Micah doesn't beat around the bush. He puts it in a simple statement of what life with God is.
To act justly
To love mercy
To walk humbly
A fulfilled life in three statements. I'm reminded of a quote from Velvet Elvis.
"I think the way of Jesus is best possible way to live."
