September 11, 2001. 9 years ago today. It is really a very surreal feeling. I was just entering my freshman english class at Central Texas College on that fateful day. I, just like everyone else in the classroom that morning thought it was going to be just another day. At that time, we had no idea what our fellow Americans in New York City had been going through since 9:00 that morning.

As the day continued on it seemed that by the second we were being exposed to a world that we had no idea existed, but we knew it existed. It exists everyday on the news when you hear a reporter talk about another bombing attack in Nigeria, Iraq, or even Paris. There was this feeling of, "What do we do now?"

2,977 people died that day.

Today, we know that tragedy can happen anywhere at anytime. Doesn't what country you live in, how old or young you are, anything is possible. We live in a world that is so completely desperate for love that its not even funny.

Thousands of years ago Jesus descended from His Glorious throne and lived among those in Nazareth and Jerusalem. He came down with one purpose in mind. To Love. Not Judge, To Love.

Recently, in the news we have heard about this church in Florida that believes God is calling them to have a Quran Book Burning. That is their right to believe that if they so choose.

In response to that I ask only this:

Haven't we seen enough hatred?

Say what you want about Muslims, but the Bible tells me that God loves the world so we are called to do as He does. Love the world.
